GCR – $2.00 per ton CO2e

Global Carbon Registry (GCR) is proud to introduce a major new project in North Asia -in simple terms, this project takes gas that would normally be burned off as waste and puts it to good use as a cleaner energy source. By doing this, it reduces the need for natural gas and cuts carbon emissions in a meaningful way, preventing over 3.1 million tonnes of CO₂ from entering the atmosphere. The project follows trusted international standards, ensuring the results are real and properly verified.

Located in North Asia (Southern Siberia) at the ZapSibNeftekhim complex in the historic city of Tobolsk. What makes this project stand out is its scale and practical impact. Instead of wasting excess gas, it turns it into energy, improving efficiency and reducing pollution at one of the region’s largest industrial sites. The system runs continuously and is carefully monitored, giving buyers confidence that the carbon credits represent genuine emissions reductions. As GCR expands into North Asia, this project offers businesses a reliable and high-quality way to support real climate action while meeting their carbon goals.
